Crime Of The Week

Crime Stoppers can use your help in solving the burglary of a residence. Sometime on Thursday, December 29, 2011, between the hours of 11:30 a.m. and 3:30p.m., burglar(s) broke into the residence of Myron and Karen Siegmund located at 1342 CR 200 in Giddings.

Once inside the residence, burglars took men’s and women’s jewelry, video camera equipment and an undisclosed amount of change from a milk jug.

Burglar(s) went to the rear of the residence where entrance was made by forcing open two patio doors. Once inside the residence the Burglars went to different rooms, including the master bedroom, where it is believed the burglars placed the stolen items into a pillow case. The burglars exited the residence using the front door.
