Alcoa to Close Two of the Remaining Six Idled Potlines

Alcoa announced this week that it intends to close two of the six idled potlines at the Rockdale Operations. The closing of these potlines is part of Alcoa’s attempt to lower the company’s position on the global aluminum cost curve and improve their competitiveness.
