Terrell Receives Academic Honors
Jimmy Terrell, from Lexington, has been named to the Fall 2011 Dean’s List at McMurry University. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, a student must have maintained at least a 3.5 grade point average while taking 12 or more credit hours.
Jimmy received his Bachelor of Psychology Degree from the School of Religion and Science at McMurry on December 17, 2011. He minored in Business. He plans to attend the Dallas Theological Seminary and continue his studies by getting a Masters Degree in Biblical Counseling, beginning in the Fall.
Jimmy attended McMurry University after graduating from LHS in 2007. McMurry University is a small Christian liberal arts school in Abilene. Students choose from 41 majors, including pre-professional programs in medicine, dentistry, law, and physical therapy. Through the Servant Leadership Program, students learn about ethics and develop leadership qualities.
