Lexington Community Blood Drive

Join an elite group in your community; donate blood with the American Red Cross. Helping save lives with the American Red Cross isn’t rocket science. It’s really simple math: one donor may help save the lives of three people. When you donate blood at a Red Cross blood drive, you join an elite group of people – lifesaving blood donors.

Locally, donations can be made at the Lexington Community Blood Drive, Tuesday, January 17th, 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Those in need of blood often include accident or trauma victims, premature babies, cancer patients, as well as people undergoing surgeries at area hospitals. Those in need can be your friend, your sibling, your classmate, your teacher or just about anyone else in your life.

How to Donate Blood:

Simply call 1- 800- RED CROSS ( 773- 2767) or visit redcrossblood.org to make an appointment today. All blood types are needed to ensure the Red Cross maintains an adequate blood supply. A blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Donors must be in general good health, weigh at least 110 pounds and be at least 17 years old. New height and weight restrictions apply to donors younger than 19. Visit redcrossblood.org to learn more.
