The Monday after the Thanksgiving break, the Lexington Middle School girls loaded up on the big yellow bus and traveled to Lago Vista to take on the Lady Vikings. Whether it was the break, the lack of practice, a more formidable opponent, the Lady Vikings were more than a match for the Middle School Lady Eagles.

Between the 8B, 7th and 8A teams, Lexington was outscored 80-21 for the night. 8B finished their game losing 10-0. 7th grade faced an opponent that had a fast break, a blind pass down the court after rebounding, and an excellent 2-2-1 defense. Lexington’s 7th grade points for the night were 3 buckets scored by #5 Courtney Strain, when Lago failed to cover the inbound pass under the Lexington goal, allowing Strain to shoot, and a single free throw each by #21 Madison Stefek and #42 Magen Walch.

In the second half of the game, Lago out scored Lexington 27- 6, allowing the Middle School Lady Vikings to win the third game of the night by a score of 38-13.
