Lincoln Man Sentenced for Stalking
Raymond Alan Kruger, 50 of Lincoln, was sentenced in the 21st Judicial Court of Lee County last Friday, December 9, for stalking – enhanced and for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon – family violence. On the count of stalking, Kruger was given 12 years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice and ordered to pay $388 in court costs and fees. He was sentenced to four years confinement in the TDCJ and fined an additional $388 in court costs and fees for the second charge of aggravated assault.
Judge Terry Flenniken, the presiding judge over the District Court, also sentenced Bobby Earl Punchard, 54 of Ledbetter, for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. His original sentence was revoked by Judge Flenniken and he was ordered to spend 300 days confined in the TDCJ state jail facility. He was ordered to pay all costs previously assessed and ordered to pay an additional $400 for his court appointed attorney.
Judge Flenniken also sentenced Ernesto Rene Guajardo, 27 of Dime Box, for driving while intoxicated – subsequent. Guajardo was sentenced to ten years confinement in TDCJ, probated seven years and was ordered to pay at total of $2,564 in fines, court costs, and fees. His sentence also indicated that he would spend 20 days in the Lee County Law Enforcement Center as a condition of his probation. Guajardo was also ordered to have a drug/alcohol evaluation and treatment, attend a DWI/Victim Impact Panel Program and have an ignition interlock installed on his vehicle. He will also have to complete an Aftercare Program with the Austin Drug Abuse and Alcohol Program.
