Lexington Middle School Girls’ Action
The Lexington Middle School girls faced Rogers last week and managed to rack up some impressive numbers while they were at it.
Playing for the 8B team, Shakora Litimar scored six points, had one rebound and five steals. Casey Faske contributed one rebound. Bailee Smith had three rebounds and one steal. Meagan Gonzalez put up two points for the ladies and had one rebound and two steals. Chelsye Hammond added four points for the Lady Eagles and had five rebounds and seven steals. Miriam Villalobos was the “rebound queen” for the game, claiming nine to go with her three steals. Makayla Woodward had one rebound and two steals.
In the 7A game, Emma Beard had one rebound and one steal. Jaclyn Alford put up six points and had five rebounds and three steals. Courtney Strain had three rebounds and six steals. Kynslie Meyer had six rebounds and four steals. Clarissa Parker had two rebounds and one steal. Madison Stefek tipped in nine points to go with her six rebounds and eight steals. Dessiny Turk had two rebounds and one steal and Magen Walch added eight points, 7 rebounds and four steals.
Playing for the 8A girls, Karsen Ross had two points, one rebound and four steals. Amber Turnipseed also had two points, four rebounds and one steal. Krista Lerche was the top scorer for the Lady Eagles with eight points, seven rebounds and five steals. Melanie Scantlin had six points, five rebounds and eight steals. Kennedee Herklotz had four points, three rebounds and three steals. Gem Brewer had four rebounds and one steal. Garlyn Radford added four points, nine rebounds and one steal and Whitney Willrich put up two points and had five rebounds and four steals.
