Pioneer Festival of Lights Scheduled in Lexington

The Annual Pioneer Festival of Lights, sponsored by the Lexington Log Cabins and Heritage Center, along with Round Top State Bank, will be held Saturday, December 3, at the Lexington Log Cabins.

The town will begin to gather at the Cabins at about 5 p.m., as they wait on the arrival of Santa Claus. At dusk, after his arrival, Santa will magically turn on the Tree of Lights before he gets settled in to have his picture taken with all the area boys and girls.

Pictures with Santa will be available for a $5 donation or for an unwrapped toy. All proceeds will go to the Lexington Blue Santa Project.

Members of the Lexington Log Cabins and Heritage Center will have sausage wraps and tea for sale for $3 each and Round Top State Bank will provide cookies and hot cocoa too!

Special performances will be enjoyed as local choirs lift their voices up in song with music of the season. Be sure and mark your calendar to attend this very special fun family evening this Saturday. This is a tradition you’ll want to keep during the Christmas season.
