Deputy Rudolph was dispatched to Highway 21 and Highway 77 to remove a cow from the roadway.
Chief Deputy Nathan Lapham was also dispatched to Hwy. 21 and 77 to put up a cow.
Chief Deputy Nathan Lapham responded to a report of theft at an oil rig located on County Road 441. There was a large number of tools stolen from the rig. All items reported stolen have been recovered.
Deputy Crockett was dispatched to the area around County Road 324 and County Road 326. It was reported a red GMC truck was driving down the road and throwing out trash. The driver was also seen drinking and throwing his beer cans out the window. The caller was able to get a license plate number of the truck. Deputy Crockett is continuing the investigation.
Deputy Carvin responded to County Road 119 and FM 180 to put up a Longhorn cow.

Deputy Carvin removed cows from FM 1697 and the Lee County line.
Deputy Liles removed 12 head of cattle from the FM 1697 and FM 180 areas.
Deputy Liles met with a woman on CR 233. She stated that a vehicle passed her on a county road. When the vehicle passed, her mirror was knocked off.
A caller requested a deputy come to County Road 430 and the Railroad Bridge. He reported that while he was parked there, someone stole tools from his vehicle. Deputy Liles responded.
A cow was reported out at Highway 21 and Highway 77. Deputy Skinner responded and removed the animal from the roadway.

Deputies Crockett and Skinner responded to an alarm at a residence in Lincoln. The house and property were checked. It was determined to be a false alarm.
Deputy Rudolph removed four cows from the roadway on FM 1624 near Elm Creek.
A man called the Sheriff’s Office and reported that someone had broken into his vehicle and stole his stereo. This occurred overnight when the car was parked at his home in Dime Box. Deputy Rudolph responded and is investigating.
Deputy Cary Ray was dispatched to Highway 21 and Highway 77 for a cow on the road. The cow was removed.
A man came into the Sheriff’s Office and met with Deputy Allen. The man reported he was having marital problems with his wife. He reported she had threatened him and his family. He requested a civil standby to get his personal items from the home.
A woman called the Sheriff’s Office and reported she saw a brown Cadillac parked on FM 141 near County Road 123. She saw a man and woman were fighting inside the car. Deputies Skinner and Khan located the vehicle and spoke to both persons. No assault was reported.

A woman reported to the Sheriff’s Office that someone had shot and killed both of her dogs. Deputy Ray spoke to the caller and is investigating.

Deputy York assisted a stranded motorist on Highway 77 and FM 3403.
Deputy York, Lexington EMS, Lexington Fire Department and the Lexington Police Department responded to an accident on Loop 123 and Cherry Drive in Lexington. A pickup truck made a left hand turn onto Cherry Drive from the Loop and struck a woman on a motorcycle. The driver of the motorcyle had serious injuries and was taken to the hospital by Starflight Helicopter.

Deputy Carvin was sent to Hwy. 21 and Hwy. 77 to remove a cow from the roadway.
Deputy York was sent to Highway 21 and FM 2440. It was reported a man was stealing the roadbase that the highway department had put there. The man
was using his tractor to steal the material. An investigation is being conducted.
Deputies Liles, Skinner, and York conducted a funeral procession from FM 3403 to the City Cemetery in Giddings.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office was requested at the Boy Scout Camp. It was reported a young male was out of control. Deputies Skinner, Liles, and York responded. The child was taken to the Sheriff’s Office and returned to his parent.
Deputies Skinner and Crockett met with a man on CR333 in refrence to a dispute over animals. The caller advised somone had threatened to shoot his cows.
Deputy York removed six cows from County Road 118.
Deputy Carvin assisted a motorist that had hit a deer on Hwy. 290 near County Road 138.

Deputy Liles was sent to the area of FM 141 and CR 430. It was reported that a person was in violation of the Burn Ban.
Deputy Liles was dispatched to put up a herd of cows on FM 180 and FM 1697.
The Sheriff’s Office received a call in reference to a residential alarm. Deputy York and Deputy Skinner checked the house and everything appeared to be okay.
Deputy Crockett and Deputy Skinner assisted Trooper Manner at the scene of an accident on Hwy. 77 South.
