Tragic Death of Dime Box Man

On Monday, November 14, 2011 at 12: 05 p. m., the Lee County Sheriff’s Office received a call in regard to a gunshot victim at 1263 CR 401 in Dime Box. When Sheriff’s deputies arrived, they found Clyde Perry, 83 years of age, with an apparent fatal gunshot wound.

Lee County Precinct 4 Justice of the Peace Danita Smith was summoned to do the inquest. An autopsy was requested by the Sheriff’s Office.

Perry was transported by Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home of Caldwell to the Travis County Medical Examiner’s Office. The investigation is ongoing at this time.

Responding to the call were Sheriff Rodney Meyer, Chief Deputy Nathan Lapham, Captain Adam Gonzales and Deputies Carey Ray and Gregory Ayres, along with B & M Ambulance Service.
