Students Host Annual Veterans Day Program
The Lexington High School Student Council will be hosting their annual Veterans Day ceremony at Eagle Stadium on Friday, November 11, beginning at 10 a.m. The entire community, especially veterans and their families, are invited to attend this program that centers around the gratitude we all feel for those men and women who have served, and are serving, in the armed services of our country.
Along with the students, the Lexington American Legion will participate in the program with their Honor Guard executing the 21 Gun Salute and Taps.
Following the program, the American Legion will have refreshments at the Legion Hall located on Rockdale Street. The public is invited.
