Festival of Trees to Benefit Family Crisis Center

The 10th Annual Festival of Trees, benefiting the Family Crisis Center, will be held Saturday, November 19, 2011 at the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa in Bastrop.

The Festival of Trees is a wonderful way to ring in the holiday season! Businesses, individuals, community groups, and supporters of the Family Crisis Center donate decorated Christmas trees, children’s dream playhouses, wreaths, centerpieces, gift baskets, trips, and many other holiday items in order to support programs that address domestic and sexual violence.

Select items are displayed from Saturday, November 5, until Friday, November 18, before the event on Saturday, November 19 at the Hyatt Lost Pines Resort and Spa. The evening of the event, guests gather at the Hyatt for “A Taste of the Area”, with appetizers, desserts, and beverages offered by restaurants and chefs from Bastrop and surrounding areas. As guests stroll through the magical winter wonderland, they are invited to bid on their favorite items in the live and silent auctions, and take chances at the raffle. This event is the only one of its kind in South Central Texas.

Tickets for this year’s event are $55 per person, and include 2 drink tickets. A cash bar is available. All proceeds benefit the Family Crisis Center’s programs and services. Please call 1-800-233-1234 and mention the Festival of Trees to check room availability at the special event rate of $139.

Make plans to join us and help create a magical event bringing peace and hope to families in our community.
