Lexington took the most difficult way to top Thorndale in their volleyball match Friday afternoon. Lexington won the odd games and Thorndale the even. Luckily there were three odd number games. The scores for the five games were: 25-14, 19-25, 25- 15, 23-25, 15-6.

Game 1 - Lexington played an excellent game, making kills, digs, and blocks as they dominated. The Lady Eagles did very little wrong.

Game 2 - This was a much different game. Lexington never got the lead and Thorndale was in control.

Game 3 - Lexington came out with an early lead. Johna Alford and Karley Wren dominated at the net as Lexington kept the lead the entire game.

Game 4 - This was a close game the entire way. Lexington had some good net play as they took a four-point lead. The lead did not last, as Thorndale battled back to win the game and force game five.

Game 5 - Thorndale scored the first point; Karley Wren served six winners behind Alford’s kills. Lexington then eased their way to victory.
