Chocolate Lovers a Treat for the Town


This year’s Chocolate Lovers Festival treated visitors to Lexington with tons of chocolate and a beautiful old fashioned carousel. Pictured above are Brylan Brown, Tessa Sperry, and Kierra Washington enjoying a carousel ride.

Winning in the Adult Cake division were: First Place - Lee Marks for Chocolate Hugs and Kisses; Second Place - Rose Fritsche for World’s Best Chocolate Cake and Third Place - Adam Kieschnick for Chocolate Layer Cake with Peanuts.



Winning 1st Place Adult Dessert was Crystalynn Knobloch, seen above, for her Layered Mousse entry. Second Place went to Stella Booker for her Peppermint Brownie Bites and 3rd place to Cindy Gibson for her Cookies and Cream Cookies. Winning 1st Place Youth Cake were Payson & Genevieve Eberz, seen above, for their Creepy Castle cake. The 3rd place winner was won by Rebecca Frazier for her Mocha Fluff Icebox Cake.
