Lexington won their second match in a row with a three-game win over the Academy Lady Bees 25-16, 25-17, 26-24. Johna Alford led the Lady Eagles with 11 kills, 3 blocks, 3 ace serves, 14 digs, and one assist. Madison Bexley had 10 digs, Aleece Moerbe 11, and Karley Wren 10 digs to put the Lexington offense in motion.

Game 1-Lexington jumped out to an early lead 10-2 with some excellent serving and good offensive play. Academy worked back to close to 15-10. From there Lexington took over, serving their way to a 25-16 win.

Game 2-An early effort by Academy kept the game close early, but Lexington got rolling to take a 15-10 lead. Wren had several good digs and Alford asserted herself at the net. Lexington took charge to win 25- 17.

Game 3- The Lady Eagles seemed to lose their focus early in the game. Academy jumped out to a 5-13 lead. Lexington woke up and steadily worked their way back into the game. Lexington finally pulled even at 21. Wren had a great play at the net to move Lexington and to give Lexington its first lead at 24-23. Alford treated the Lady Bees to one of her powerful kills to give Lexington a 25-24 lead. Moerbe then blocked a kill attempt at the net to give Lexington game and match.
