Angela Denise Ahrendt

February 13, 1967-August 26,2011

Angela (Angy) Ahrendt, 44, passed away Friday, August 26 at Greenville, Texas. She was born February 13, 1967, in Wichita Falls, Texas to Truett and Fredene Fenter.

Angy graduated from Giddings High School, Giddings, Texas in 1985. Afterward she attended Ogle Beauty School in Ft. Worth, Texas and returned to Giddings and worked as a hair stylist. Shortly thereafter she met the love of her life, Kent Ahrendt from Abilene, Texas (originally from Lexington, Texas). They made their home in Abilene. In 1995 Angy and Kent moved to West Tawakoni, Texas and then to their current home in Paradise, Texas in 1998.

She was a member of the Garvin Methodist Church.

Her interests included family, friends, her beloved pets, and feeding and watering the wild animals and birds. She devoted much of her time and energy as a caregiver to family members. She was always first to offer help and her heart to anyone.

Angy is survived by her husband, Kent Ahrendt of Paradise, Texas, her parents, Truett and Fredene Fenter of West Tawakoni, Texas. Brother, Larry (Dalton) Fenter and family of Springfield, Vermont, Brother Stephen (Brett) Fenter and family of North Bend, Washington. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Travis, Jason, and Casey, Sophia, Kayty, Rhyan, Tanner, Jay, & Bree.

Services were held Wednesday August 31, 2011 at 10 am at Coker Funeral Home Chapel and burial followed at Oakwood Cemetery in Jacksboro. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the no-kill animal shelter of your choice.
