Giddings Library News Corner

THERE IS A NEW SHIPMENT OF BOOKS EVERY MONTH.

The Giddings Public Library has a variety of new books to be checked out. Dreaming Of Dior by Charlotte Smith, a non-fiction book, describes a vintage clothing collection that she inherited from her quaker godmother. Other non-fiction books are: The Art Of Gift Wrapping by Wanda Wen; False Profits by Dean Baker; Savannah Style by Paula Dean; The Blue Ribbon Cookbook by Bruce Bromberg; Scream Free Marriage by Hal Runkel; In Fire Forged World’s Of Honor #5 by David Weber; Different Learners by Jane M. Healy, Ph. D. and 10,000 Dreams Interpreted by Gustavus Hindman Miller.

City Of Dreadful Night, a fiction book, by Peter Guttridge involves a radio journalist Kate Simpson. She enlists the help of ex-chief Constable Robert Watts when she wants to reopen the case of the Brighton Trunk Murder. Other fiction books are: The Damascus Way by Davis Bunn; Lover Unleashed by J.R. Ward; Hand Of Fate by Lis Wiehl.

Restless Heart, a large print book, by Wynonna Judd is about Destiny who finds success on the musical stage but struggles to reconnect to the things in her life that matter most. Some other large print books are: Devil’s Food Cake Murder, Hannah Swensen Mystery with Recipes, by Joanne Fluke; The Lost by J.D. Robb; Home Free by Fern Michael; Sham Rock, a mystery by Ralph McInerny and Deadly Deals by Fern Michaels.
