Lee County Extension Agent Tonya Poncik Lee County Extension Agent Tonya Poncik Last Thursday the Lexington Garden Club held their August meeting at the Woodson Building. Lee County Extension Agent Tonya Poncik gave a very informative presentation on Cooking and Preserving Foods. She shared the most current research in this field and offered many safety tips and canning suggestions.The Club elected officers for the upcoming year after the meeting. The officers are as follows: Kathi Olechowski, President; Paulette Schulze, Vice President; Millie Wester, Treasurer and Karen Boriack, Secretary. Hostesses for the meeting were Cherry Stover, Pat Rao, Mary Ann Hillegeist, and Mary Beth Gibson.
