Alleen Emma Wagner

April 5, 1928 - August 7, 2011

Funeral services for Alleen Wagner, 83 of Lincoln, Texas, were held Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at St. John Lutheran Church in Lincoln, Texas with Rev. Leif Hasskarl officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Wagner passed away during the early morning hours of Sunday, August 7, 2011 at St. Mark’s Medical Center in La Grange.

Alleen Emma (Weiser) Wagner was born on April 5, 1928 in Lincoln, Texas to Louis & Emma (Boes) Weiser. She was united in marriage to Calvin Wagner on June 6, 1948 at St. John Lutheran Church in Lincoln. Alleen & Calvin were lifelong farmers and ranchers in the Lincoln area and were blessed with sixty years of marriage before his death in 2008.

She was an active member of St. John Lutheran Church in Lincoln where she had been a member of the Ladies Aid, a Sunday School teacher and had sang in the choir. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, quilting and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Alleen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, Clifford Wagner; son-in-law, Delbert Lehmann; sister and brother- in- law, Mildred & Franklin Urban; brother, Martin Weiser and brother and sister-inlaw, Calvin & Irene Weiser.

She is survived by her son, Eddie Wagner of Lexington; her daughter and son-in-law, Evelyn & Clinton Peese of Fredricksburg; four grandchildren, Penny White of Seguin, Peggy & Jim Davis of Seguin, Janice & David Whitt of Hutto and Justin Peese & his fiancee, Jessi Daniel of Austin; four great grandchildren, Jaret Deagen of Seguin, Hanna Deagen of Seguin, Owen Whitt of Hutto and Matthew Whitt of Hutto; sister and brother-in-law, Bernice & Clifton Frosch of Lincoln; sister-in-law, Olivia Weiser Mize of Lincoln as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Serving as pallbearers were Floyd Urban, Kenneth Urban, David Wagner, Larry Walch, Ronald Frosch and Russell Frosch.
