Motorcycle Accident Claims Life of Lexington Man
Paul Sexton, 55 of Lexington, lost his life last Wednesday morning when the motorcycle he was driving struck a deer. According to the DPS report, Sexton was going to work at the Federal Correctional facility in Bastrop at 4:35 a.m. and traveling on FM 696 West near CR 305. He struck the deer that was in his lane of traffic and laid the bike over onto its left side. Sexton was ejected from the vehicle, which slid down the pavement striking a guardrail, bouncing off and coming to rest in the center of the lane in which he had been traveling.
Sexton was taken by Star Flight to Brackenridge Hospital in Austin, where he was declared deceased. A full obituary is found in today’s paper.
