Hulda Leonie (Toll) Zoch
Hulda Leonie Toll Zoch was born on September 16, 1921 in Fayette County, Texas to Herman & Frieda (Sohr) Toll. She was baptized on June 25, 1922 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Greenscreek, Texas by Rev. William Menking and confirmed on September 15, 1935 at Zion Lutheran Church in Waldeck, Texas by Rev. Carl Biar.
Hulda was united in marriage to Martin Zoch on March 23, 1947 at Zion Lutheran Church in Waldeck and was a loving and devoted homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; an infant grandson; brother, Herbert Toll and sisters, Erna Liebscher, Alvina Miertschin, Leona Mollien and Ester Toll.
Hulda is survived by her son, James “Smokey” Zoch of Serbin; daughter, Bernice & Dennis Zoch of Serbin; grandchildren, Ricky & Angela Zoch of Serbin, Roland Zoch & Robbie Lynn Plitt of Winchester, Colter Zoch of La Grange, Melissa & Neil Bamsch of Houston; great grandchildren, Nathan Zoch, Kyle Mason Zoch and Amber Bamsch; sisters, Evelyn & Bobby Buscha of Smithville and Lorene & Charles Stork of Hallettsville as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services Leonie (Toll) were held on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Serbin with Rev. John Schmidt officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
