The Texas Word Wrangler Book Festival, 2011 will be held on September 9, 2011 at the Giddings Public Library beginning at 10:00am. This article features some of our authors who will be present on that day. This is a very exciting day, so come by and meet our authors and look at their books.

Texas Bound by Connie Carson is about Seth, who always finds trouble or it finds him. As soon as he graduates from William and Mary, he strikes out to find some place he could have freedom and space he desired. In 1836, after nearly a year of searching, he finds himself in Texas. The Boots My Mother Gave Me by Brooklyn James introduces a strong-willed tomboy named Harley LeBeau. She takes you on a journey of escape from an abusive childhood.

The Ghost Of Hampton Court by Martha Hannah is a CD that includes interesting historical facts from the Tudor Age of Henry VIII and includes reviews from Beyond The Grave. Dance Ya’ll, Dance by Kelly Bennett tells the story of one perfect night at a dance hall. The whole community drops their cares and comes together for some foottappin’ action.
