Blue UMC Revival

Blue UMC invites everyone in the community to our annual revival, Sunday, August 7 - Tuesday, August 9. Dinner will be at 6 each night with the service beginning at 7. The theme this year is “A Church for All Generations,” focusing around witnessing, serving, and being an intergenerational church in the 21st century. We will have a different speaker each night. Rev. Lindsey Kirkpatrick will speak on Sunday night. She is the Associate Pastor at Montgomery UMC, one of the fastest growing United Methodist Churches in the country, and a recent graduate of Perkins School of Theology. Rev. Josh Hubert will speak on Monday night. He is the Associate Pastor at Wildwood United Methodist Church in Magnolia, a very successful “new church start” in the Texas Annual Conference of the UMC. Rev. Hubert is a graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary, has served as Minister of Youth and Mission at Duke University Chapel, and holds a Master of Theology from Duke University. Elley Fisk will be our speaker on Tuesday. Ms. Fisk is the Director of Youth and College Ministry at A&M United Methodist Church in College Station and a recent graduate of Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, KY. The Quartet and Choir from Lexington UMC will provide the music on Sunday and Monday evening respectively. Tuesday will be a youthoriented night featuring contemporary Christian music. Come on out for great preaching, music, and of course food!
