Masonic Lodge Hosts Installation Ceremony

Wright, Jr. Forty five people were on hand as the Lexington Masonic Lodge held their annual Installation of Officers July 11, 2011 at the Masonic Lodge Building. T. E. “Gene” Carnes - Most Worshipful Master of Texas, was the Installing Officer, while James McCrae - Right Worshipful Grand Marshall of Texas served as Installing Marshall.

The 2010-2011 Worshipful Master of the Lexington Lodge, Keith Hansberger, opened by greeting every one and introduced the dignitaries from the Grand Lodge. Reuel Cooper offered the opening prayer.


Johnny Menges’s son, Johnny K. Menges, Jr. (center), traveled to Lexington from Illinois to Lexington to witness his father’s installation as the new Worshipful Master of the Lexington Masonic Lodge. Wright, Jr.; Junior Warden – “Guz” Feliciano Guzman; Treasurer – Charles Larry Gardner; Secretary – Reuel J. Cooper; Senior Deacon – Ray Louis Ramsey, Jr.; Junior Deacon – William Henry Crawford, Jr.; Senior Steward – Charles Thomas Ramsey; Marshall – John Allen Johnson, III and Tiler – John C. Tonn. Chaplain – Travis McPhaul, who was installed as Chaplain last year and will carry over for the 2011-2012 year. Other elected officers not available will be installed at a later date.

Most Worshipful Master, T. E. “ Gene” Carnes made a special presentation of his Grand Masters Coin and his pin, to Johnny K. Menges, Jr. who is visiting from Illinois to see his father installed as Worshipful Master for Lexington.
