Lexington Athletes Advance to Nationals for AAU Jr. Olympics

Some of the athletes involved in the Lee County Express Track Club are seen above. They are preparing to attend the National AAU Junior Olympics, which will be held in New Orleans the first week of August. Some of the athletes involved in the Lee County Express Track Club are seen above. They are preparing to attend the National AAU Junior Olympics, which will be held in New Orleans the first week of August. The following Lexington athletes have advanced to compete in the National AAU Junior Olympics Track and Field in New Orleans on August 1st - 7th: Ashunti Cooper, Elexus Cooper, Eldrick “Jay” Cooper, Keshun Cooper, Vance Kassner, Aaliyah McFarlin, Curtis McFarlin II, and Jeremiah Jackson. These athletes represent Lexington as part of the LC Express Track Club.
