Lee County Grand Jury Hands Down 16 Indictments

The Lee County Grand Jury handed down 16 indictments against 15 people on June 30.

Jesus J. Alvarado, 17 from the Texas Youth Commission ( TYC), was indicted for Harassment by Person in certain Correctional Facility.

Derrick Lamon Candad, 34 from Giddings, was indicted for Injury to a Child.

Stacey Lee Dowihitt, 37 from Brenham, was indicted for Driving While Intoxicated with a Child Passenger.

Richard Garcia, 17 from the TYC, was indicted for two counts of Harassment by Person in certain Correctional Facility.

Anthony Carl Green, a.k.a. Anthony Bernard Green, 52 of Giddings, was indicted for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon – Threat.

Jose L. Hurtado, 18 from the TYC, was indicted for Assault Against a Public Servant.

Taylor Chadwick Murphy and Tyler Cameron Murphy, both 18 from Fresno, Texas, were indicted for Possession of a Controlled Substance – 3, 4 – Methylenedioxy Methamphetamine, Less than 1 Gram.

Alexis Santiago, 23 from Houston, was indicted for Possession of a Controlled Substance – Cocaine, Less than 1 Gram.

Lucio Mireles Segundo, Jr., 24 from Giddings, was indicted for Possession of a Controlled Substance – Cocaine, Less than 1 Gram.

Trisha Elaine Simpson, 19 of Giddings, was indicted for Evading Arrest or Detention with a Vehicle.

Gail Swinford, 19 of Lexington, was indicted for Possession of a Controlled Substance – Cocaine, Less than 1 Gram.

Wilbert Charles Williams, 20 of Missouri City, Texas, was indicted for Possession of a Controlled Substance – 3, 4 Methylenedioxy Methamphetamine, Less than 1 Gram.

Travis O’Neal Wolridge, 22 of Giddings, was indicted for Criminal Mischief - $1,500 to $20,000.

Jimmy Lee Zoch, 62 of La Grange, was indicted for Assault Against a Public Servant.
