Blok and O’Conner at All-Star Game

by Mike Organ

Kaelan Blok and Josh O’Conner were selected to play in the Central Texas Coaches All-Star game. The two senior athletes had one more game to represent the Lexington Eagles.

O’Conner played a great defensive game at shortstop according to Coach Craig Finley. O’Conner went one for three with two runs scored. In his second at-bat he singled to right field, drove in a run, and stoled second base for good measure. In his third at-bat, Josh reached on an error and eventually scored.

Blok hit a hard line drive to right field that was caught with a great sliding catch. Blok also caught a fly ball while playing right field.

The two athletes ended their high school careers on a wining note as their team won the game 7-4.
