Masonic Lodge Recognized WWII Veterans

Lexington’s Masonic Lodge recognized WWII Veterans at their regular monthly meeting last week. Pictured above are three of the men honored for their courageous service during that war. Archie Scott, far left, was a rifleman in the Marines during WWII. When he and his men landed on the Pacific island of Peleliu, 180 men got off the boat. Only 21 walked out. Mike Buchan (center) served in the U.S. Navy during the invasion of Normandy and Dud Morris (right) ran one of the landing craft during the battle at Iwo Jima. Thank you for your service!
