Ranch Rodeo Coming to Lexington

This year Lexington Homecoming crowds will be thrilled to a rodeo event that is sweeping the western part of the country. Ranch rodeo competitions are designed to showcase the skills of cowboys and their horses while working as a team without pens and chutes.

In a series of events, the teams earn points by competing in open spaces while they execute Double Mugging, Team Branding and the especially excitingly funny “Wild Cow Milking”.

The rodeo is sponsored by the award winning Texas Tornadoes Equestrian Drill Teams. Spectators will enjoy action, excitement, thrills and laughs as the teams execute difficult maneuvers with the animals sometimes outwitting the cowboys.

For information call Garry or Angie Turner at 512 229-6110 or 512 229-6448.

The Lexington Ranch Rodeo will be held at the Schulz Arena on CR 410, one block east of Hwy 77 in Lexington, behind the Christian Church. Bleacher seating will be provided. Concessions available. Admission is free with donations accepted. The time is Saturday April 30th at 5 p.m.
