REGULAR MEETING

The Lexington City Council met in regular session on Wednesday, April 13th, 2011, at 6:00 p.m., at the Woodson Community Center.

Present was Mayor Robert Willrich, Sr., Councilpersons Tony Tavary, Tim Brown, Greg Langehennig, Lori Barnikow and William Langehennig.

Mayor Robert Willrich, Sr. brought the meeting to order and welcomed the guest. Citizen input.- Sam Scoggins

Tim Brown made the motion to approve minutes for March 9th, 17th, 22nd and 31st. 2011. Greg Langehennig seconded the motion. Vote 5 for.

Tim Brown made the motion to approve paying the bills for the month of March 2011. Greg Langehennig seconded the motion. Vote 5 for.

Tim Brown made the motion to approve the election officers for the May 2011 City Election. Greg Langehennig seconded the motion. Vote 5 for.

Election Day Judge – Artis Poston

Lori Barnikow made the motion to close streets and perform other request for Homecoming 2011. Tim Brown seconded the motion. Vote 5 for. (Councilperson Greg Langehennig volunteered to put up barricades for the homecoming if the city boys would bring the barricades to the square)

Tim Brown made the motion to approve nominating Sharon (Sherry) Roussel for a place on the board of directors for Lee County Appraisal District. Greg Langehennig seconded the motion. Vote 5 for.

Lori Barnikow made the motion to approve the financial and budget report. Greg Langehennig seconded the motion. Vote 5 for.

Tim Brown made the motion to adjourn. Lori Barnikow seconded the motion. Vote 5 for. Adjourned at 6:10 p.m.
