Seven Sentenced in Lee County District Court

Seven people were sentenced in the 21st Judicial District Court of Lee County, Texas, on April 5, 2011, the Honorable Reva Towslee-Corbett presiding.

Patrick Richard Beasley, 26 of Lexington, was sentenced for online solicitation of a minor and for arson. On the arson charge, his original sentence, probation was revoked. He received two concurrent sentences of 4 years confinement in the TDCJ, and ordered to pay $1288 in fees, fines and court costs.

Joey Stanton Kieschnick, 29 of Giddings, was sentenced for driving while intoxicatedsubsequent. He received 7 years confinement in the TDCJ, probated 5 years, and ordered to pay $3,038 in fees, fines and court costs. The defendant is also required to enter the Central Texas Treatment Center as a condition of probation, enter and successfully complete a Victim Impact Panel Program and DWI Intervention Program. He will also have an Ignition Interlock System installed in his vehicle.

Demarkkus Rahasaad Johnson, 18 of La Grange, was sentenced for theft of property $1,500-$20,000-aggregation of amounts involved in theftengaging in organized criminal activity. He was sentenced to 5 years confinement in the TDCJ probated 5 years, and ordered to pay $2,038 in fees, fines and court costs, along with$ 4,826.40 restitution, and spend 45 days confinement in Lee County Law Enforcement Center as a condition of probation.

Andrew Orvil Simon, 51 of Giddings, was sentenced for assault- family violence. He received one year confinement in the Lee County Law Enforcement Center, probated 18 months. He was ordered to pay $1,538 in fees, fines and court costs. He was also ordered to spend 60 days confinement in the Lee County Law Enforcement Center as a condition of probation, and ordered to successfully complete an Anger Management program.

Elizabeth Joann Barakat, 21 of La Grange, was sentenced for theft of property-$1,500-$20,000- aggregation of amounts involved in theft-engaging in organized criminal activity. She received 5 years probation, and was ordered to pay $2,038 in fees, fines and court costs, along with $4,826.40 restitution. She will also have to serve 140 hours community service restitution, and spend 15 days confinement in the Lee County Law Enforcement Center as a condition of probation.

Travis Scott Bone, 21 of College Station, was sentenced for fraudulent use of possession of identifying information. He received 3 years probation, and was ordered to pay $3,388 in fees, fines and court costs. He was ordered to serve 150 hours community service restitution, write a letter of apology to his victim, and spend 10 days confinement in the Lee County Law Enforcement Center as a condition of probation.

Brandon Jerome Patterson, 21 of Burton, was sentenced for assault- family violence. He received 2 years probation, and was ordered to pay $1,788 in fees, fines and court costs and perform100 hours community service restitution. He will also have to enter and successfully complete an anger management program.
