Douglas Irby explains to the members how his rainwater collection system operates. The Garden Club met Thursday, March 10th at the home of Douglas and Geneva Irby. Mr. Irby gave a very informative presentation on Rainwater Collection & Filtration and Earth Box Gardening sharing how he utilizes these methods in his daily life.
The Garden Club will meet on April 14th at 8:30 a.m. at the Gazebo for a trip to the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center & Barton Springs Nursery.
We will also be meeting Tuesday, April 12th at 9:00 a.m. for “Beautification on the Square” which is the pre-Homecoming cleanup. Members are asked to please bring their yard tools.

The March Garden Club meeting was hosted by Paulette Schulze (pictured far left) and co-hosted by Leonard Kastner, Alice Kastner, and Loretta Church.
