Four People Sentenced

Four people were sentenced in District Court on February 22, 2011, with the Honorable Terry Flenniken presiding.

Kensen James Richard, 23 of Lexington, had two sentences handed down to him. The first was for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance-Cocaine, 4-200 grams; the second for forgery passing. He received ten years confinement in the TDCJ, $1278 in fines, 200 hours community service restitution, agreed forfeiture of $640, and defendant was ordered to enter a drug offender education program. For the second offense, he received revocation of his original sentence, 324 days confinement in the TDCJ State Jail Facility and all costs previously assessed.

James William Symm, 61 of Giddings, was sentenced for driving while intoxicated-subsequent. He received revocation of his original sentence, seven years confinement in TDCJ, all costs previously assessed plus $400 court appointed attorney fee on revocation matters.

Timothy Scott Janowski, 30 of Ledbetter, was sentenced on two counts of driving while intoxicated-subsequent. He received seven years confinement in the TDCJ, probated seven years, $1000 fine, $438 in other fees, 300 hours community service restitution, one year’s driver’s license suspension, and ordered to enter DWI and Victim Impact Panel Programs as a condition of probation. For the second offense, he received revocation of his original sentence, 324 days confinement in the TDCJ, and all cost previously assessed.

Brittany Louise Atteberry, 25 of Austin, was sentenced for fraudulent use or possession of identifying information. She received revocation of her original sentence, 300 days confinement in the TDCJ State Jail Facility, all costs previously assessed plus $400 court appointed attorney fee on revocation matters.
