Lady Eagles Scrimmage Report

by Mike Organ

The Lady Eagle softball team scrimmaged Rockdale and Salado Saturday. Coach Ryan Starnes used the scrimmage to look at some different girls at different positions. The result was the girls were thinking instead of reacting, which caused a few errors, both mental and physical. With the season opener coming up Tuesday night the Lady Eagles need to put their best team possible on the field. Lexington is looking forward to another long run into the state playoffs.

The Lady Eagles will be playing in the 32-team Navarro Tourney this weekend. The Lady Eagles will play three games on Thursday and three on Saturday. Lexington’s first home game will be a double header with Milano and Bastrop Cedar Creek on Tuesday February 22nd.
