The Lexington City Council met in regular session on Wednesday, February 9, 2011, at 6:00 p m., at the Woodson Community Center.

Present was Mayor Robert Willrich, Sr., Councilpersons Tony Tavary, Tim Brown, Greg Langehennig, Lori Barnikow, William Langehennig and City Attorney Tim Kleinschmidt.

Major Robert Willrich, Sr. called the meeting to order and welcomed the guest.

The following people spoke under citizens input about matters related to police department.

Greg Langehennig made the motion to approve minutes of January 12, 2011. Tim Brown seconded the motion. Vote 5 for.

Tim Brown made the motion to pay bills for the month of January 2011. Lori Barnikow seconded the motion. Vote 5 for.

Donald Chrisner spoke to City Council about concerns and complaints he has with the police department. William Langehennig made the motion to put a committee together about complaints where if there is something going on we can correct. Lori Barnikow seconded the motion. Vote 5 for.

Jimmy Fritcher spoke to City about concerns and complaints he has with the police department.

Greg Langehennig made the motion to take no action until other residents in the 696 West area can be contacted about capping off waterline and allowing Lee County Water take over the waterline. Lori Barnikow seconded the motion. Vote 5 for.

Tim Brown made the motion to file for grant with LCRA on the Little League Park Project. Greg Langehennig seconded the motion. Vote 5 for.

Greg Langehennig made the motion to call for the City Election on May 14, 2011, for three councilpersons. Lori Barnikow seconded the motion. Vote 5 for.

The City Council convened into the executive session to discuss annual job review on police department. No action was taken when Council reconvened into public session.

Tony Tavary made the motion to approve the financial report. Tim Brown seconded the motion. Vote 5 for.

Tim Brown made the motion to approve the budget report. Lori Barnikow seconded the motion. Vote 5 for.

Tony Tavary made the motion to approve the police report. Tim Brown seconded the motion. Vote 5 for.

Tim Brown made the motion to adjourn. Lori Barnikow seconded the motion. Vote 5 for.
