Deputy York spoke to a complainant at Westwood Villa Apartments. The caller stated that her juvenile daughter had taken her vehicle without her permission. Her daughter had already returned home with the vehicle.
The Sheriff’s Office received a call from a complainant on Hwy 77 advising that someone had damaged the front gate to their property. Deputy York took a report.
A motorist reported cows out on Hwy 21 near CR 103. Deputy Lapham responded and ran the cattle off the road.
Deputy Durrenberger responded to a call at a bar on CR 217. A caller reported that her vehicle had been vandalized in the parking lot.

Deputy York and Deputy Carvin assisted on calls regarding trees down all over the county. Trees were reported down on CR 119, Cr 135, CR 327, CR 107, CR 205, CR 316, CR 323, CR 320, CR 417, CR 331 and CR 401.
A trucking company requested an escort from CR 117 to CR 424 then to FM 141 onto Hwy 21. Deputy Carvin was dispatched and assisted.
Deputy Crockett and Deputy Allen responded to a domestic dispute on CR 133. Both parties were involved in a verbal confrontation and agreed to separate for the night.
A motorist reported a large piece of tire in the westbound lane of traffic on Hwy 21 @ FM 114. Deputy Liles responded and removed the debris from the road.
Deputy Allen and Deputy Liles responded to an alarm on CR 217. The building was found secure and everything was okay.
February 2, 2011
A caller reported that several goats were out on Hwy 77 @ CR 114. Deputy Crockett responded and ran the goats off the highway.
Deputy Allen spoke to a complainant on Deerwood Drive in Lexington regarding some suspicious activity at his residence.
A complainant reported a suspicious vehicle at the trailer park on Hwy 290 East. An older model Ford F150 pulling a trailer was seen taking scrap metal from a residence. Deputy Crockett was dispatched and the case is currently under investigation.
While on routine patrol Deputy Allen logged an abandoned vehicle parked on CR 309 near CR 331. The vehicle is off the roadway.
Deputy Liles and Deputy Allen were called and asked to check welfare on a child on CR 135. Everything was fine.
February 3, 2011
Captain Gonzales searched for a green mini-van that was driving around CR A and FM 696. The caller advised that they had not seen the vehicle in their neighborhood before.
A caller requested to speak to a deputy regarding possible identity theft. Deputy Lapham assisted the caller.
February 4, 2011
A caller reported that he was hearing people talk outside his residence on CR 450. Deputy Liles responded and checked the area but did not locate anything or anyone near the property.
Deputy Lapham, Deputy Carvin and Deputy Rudolph responded to a burglar alarm at a business on Hwy 21. Dispatch was able to contact the owner.
Chief Deputy Kothmann assisted Trooper Weiser at a one vehicle accident on Hwy 21 just west of FM 3403. The vehicle lost control and went through a fence. The driver was not injured.
A caller reported that there was a one vehicle accident on FM 696 and the car was in the creek. All occupants were out of the vehicle. Deputy Lapham, Deputy Carvin and Deputy Rudolph responded to the scene.
A motorist reported that there was something covering the outside eastbound lane of traffic on Hwy 290 West near CR 200. Deputy Durrenberger and Deputy Ray responded and located a tarp in the road and removed it.
A female subject called the family crisis center hotline and reported that she was going to kill herself by taking a bunch of pills. Deputy Ray and Deputy Durrenberger responded to the address given and spoke to the subject that made the call. She advised it was a prank call only.
February 5, 2011
The Sheriff’s Office received a 9-1-1 hang up call and was unable to make contact with anyone. Deputy Durrenberger was dispatched to check out the situation on CR 307 in Lexington. Everything was okay.
Deputy Ray responded to an audible alarm at a business on Hwy 77. All the doors were found to be secure and the key holder was notified.
February 6, 2011
Deputy Ray was dispatched to CR 232 to deliver a message to a subject advising them that someone was in the hospital.
A motorist reported that a young black male was laying in the middle of the road on Hwy 290 East @ FM 180. A vehicle was parked on the side of the road and was yelling at him. Deputy Carvin was dispatched but advised that they had already left the area.
Deputy York was dispatched to a residence on PR 8004 in Dime Box. The complainant advised that she was arguing with a man and he would not leave. The subject had left the residence prior to arrival.
