2nd Annual Varmint Tournament Results


1st place: The D&S Boys: Forrest Moore, Wayne Orender, and Brentt Raybion 1st place: The D&S Boys: Forrest Moore, Wayne Orender, and Brentt Raybion The 2nd Annual Lone Star Lexington Varmint Tournament in Lexington, Texas, hosted by Nocks Bow Repair was amazing this year. We had 69 teams sign- up Saturday, January 29th, 2011.

The first place winners, The D&S Boys out of Georgetown/ Brady area, with a total of 205 points, won $4, 140. The second place winners, Team Nuts & Furs out of Giddings/Ledbetter area, with a total of 165 points, won $2,070. The 3rd place winners, BKillers out of Bryan/ College Station area, with a total of 155 points, won $690.

We had four side pots. The Varminators out of Gonzales area, won $275 in the heaviest bobcat category with a 26.2 lb. bobcat. Nobody “Messes” with a Lion out of Lexington, won $300 in the heaviest coyote category with a 42.8 lb. coyote. The D&S Boys won $270 in the heaviest fox category with a 9.6 lb. fox. Team Smith out of Lexington won $305 in the mangiest coyote. This year we were able to give away 3 guns and 40 smaller prizes. One gun was raffled off.
