Five People Sentenced in District Court
Five people were sentenced in the 21st Judicial District Court of Lee County, Texas on February 1, 2011, the Honorable Reva Towslee- Corbett presiding.
Cecil Monroe Richmond, 37 of Caldwell, was sentenced for aggravated assault – serious bodily injury. His original sentence was revoked and he was ordered to serve five years confinement in the TDCJ. He was also order to pay all costs previously assessed plus $400 court appointed attorney fee on Motion to Revoke Probation matters.
Jacob A. Garza, 19 of Lubbock, was sentenced for having a prohibited substance and item in a correctional facility. He received eight years confinement in TDCJ, probated for five years, and ordered to pay $1978 in costs, fines, fees and restitution, and to serve 200 hours community service restitution.
Kevin Lin Rahe, 19 of Pearland, received two sentences. The first was for forgery by passing and the second was for fraudulent use or possession of identifying information. In both dispositions, he was sentenced also for engaging in organized criminal activity. He received six years confinement in TDCJ, five years probation and 60 days confinement in Lee County Law Enforcement Center as a condition of probation. He was ordered to pay a total of $20,969.50 in fees, fines, costs and restitution. He was also ordered to provide 200 community service hours.
Johnny Ondrea Kelly, 31 of Giddings, was sentenced for assault/ family/household member with previous conviction, repeat felony offender. He received seven years probation; ordered to pay $788 in costs, fines and fees and to enter and successfully complete an Anger Management Program.
Mark Steven Metzler, 31 of Houston, was sentenced for fraud. He received revocation of original sentence, three years confinement in the TDCJ, all costs previously assessed plus $400 court appointed fee on Motion to Revoke Probation Matters.
