Lexington Police Chief Randy Davenport

January 26, 2011

On January 26th at 8:16 p.m., Officer Whorton responded to a crash involving a vehicle and a black bull. There were no injuries to the driver or the livestock.

On January 26th at 9:03 p.m., Officer Whorton responded to the 700 block of N. Rockdale to assist Lexington EMS on a medical call. A male was having seizures.

On January 26th at 9:45 p.m., Officer Whorton found several open doors while checking on businesses.

January 30, 2011

On January 30th at 9:40 a.m., Officer Raney was dispatched to

the area of Dickson Street in reference to several minors walking around the burned house.

On January 30th at 8:30 p.m., Officer Sherer was notified by the complainant of a lost cell phone and possible criminal mischief.

Officer Sherer was summoned to Peterson’s Store to investigate suspicious activity. No other police action was taken.

On January 30th at 9:00 Officer Sherer was dispatched to the 700 block of Giddings Street to investigate a Family Disturbance. The disturbance was not in progress when the officer arrived. An information report was taken.

January 31, 2011

On January 31st at 8:00 a.m., Chief Davenport assisted an individual with victim assistance forms to be turned in to the Officer of Attorney General.

The Lexington Police Department and the Lee County Animal Welfare League are planning to sponsor another Rabbis Clinic.
