Lexington @ Cameron Tourney

The Lexington Eagles finally started basketball season with a workout and the Cameron Tourney during the Christmas break. The Eagles are without Josh Murray, who suffered an injury during the state championship football game, and Anthony Robbins.

The Eagles ran into teams that had been practicing and playing basketball for six weeks or more.

Lexington opened the Cameron Tourney with Lampasas. The Badgers defeated the Eagles 87- 44.

Next was Brenham who tacked a 67-32 loss on the Eagles.

Lexington defeated the Cameron B team 54-41 in their third game of the tourney.

Giddings won a hard fought 54-48 battle in the final game of the tourney.
