Blue Santa Wrapped over 2000 Gifts

Lee County’s Blue Santa wrapped over 2000 gifts Saturday to help put big smiles on little faces of children this Christmas. Wednesday night the youth group from Martin Luther Church started us off then Saturday Beta Club, Leo’s, Band, Girl Scouts, 4-H, and Citizens finished. A big THANK YOU to all our volunteers. This program is 30 years old this year. We lost our founder Mary Newton this year, but her dream of helping needy children lives. Law Enforcement and Citizens of Lee County make this program possible. Merry Christmas! PHOTOS AND STORY BY LINDA WARD.
