Dear Editor,

Thank you to Lexington School for their quick response and efforts in taking care of our child last Friday, December 3, 2010. As most already know our son fell against the bleachers and the angle of the fall ripped all 5 upper front teeth right out. My husband and I were on our way to the school to pick him up, when they called to let us know his neck was hurting (due to the manner in which he fell) and he was becoming disoriented. Due to these new presented conditions the ambulance was called and then he was transported to Dell Children’s to make sure there were no injuries to his neck. During this time the School was put into Medical Lockdown which delayed the busses. I have heard some complaints around town about this, especially since a lot of people were wanting to get to the playoff game. I understand your frustrations and at the same time I ask that you understand the circumstances surrounding the lockdown-especially if this had been your child. Again as I have already stated, I commend Lexington for their actions and efforts last Friday! Thank you & God Bless!
