Annual Pioneer Festival of Lights

Each year, the Lexington Log Cabins and Heritage Center, along with Round Top State Bank, sponsor a community gathering that has come to be known as the Pioneer Festival of Lights. The event occurs at the historic log cabins north of the Square and the highlight of the event is the arrival of Santa. Here are a few pictures from this year’s event, which took place last Saturday evening. Above, left, you will see Oscar Hillegeist; in the center are Trudy Holland, Artis Poston and Maryanne Hillegeist; in the far right picture, Annette Woodward is enjoying some small talk with neighbors and friends.
