MS Basketball

The MS teams had a big week with all getting court time with some success.

7th Grade Girls- The 7B Girls nipped Rogers 11-10 in action Monday night. Makayla Woodward and Chelsye Hammond led the team in scoring with four-points each. The 7A girls did not come out as well, losing to Rogers 19-15. Karsen Ross with eight-points and Melanie Scantlin were the only players to score.

7th Grade Boys- The 7th grade boys had a good night against Rogers winning both games. The 7B boys won 14-8 behind Cody Mitchell’s eight points. The 7A boys won 27-12 with Jay Cooper leading the way with 13-points. This was the first outing for the MS boys.

8th Grade Girls-The 8B girls lost to Rogers 14-2 and the 8A beat Rogers 24-13 to remain undefeated. Kasey Smith and Tyisha Page led the 8A girls in scoring with six–points each.

8th Grade Boys- It was a tough night for the 8th grade boys. 8B lost 20-2. The 8A team also lost 31-11. Jason Handrick scored the only basket for the 8B team and Walt Green led the 8A team with five points.
