Three Sentenced in District Court

Three people were sentenced in the 21st Judicial District Court of Lee County, Texas, on November 30, 2010. The Honorable Reva Towslee-Corbett presided.

Jason Demond Willrich, 32 of Austin had 3 sentences, all to run concurrent. The first sentence was for possession of a controlled substance, Methylenedioxy Methamphetamine, 1-4 grams. For this he received 6 years confinement in the TDCJ and fees and fines as follows: $304 Court Costs; $400 court appointed attorney fee; $60 drug court fee; $140 restitution; $34 DNA collection; and $50 Bluebonnet Area Crime Stopper fee. The second was for possession of a controlled substance-Phencyclidine, 1-4 grams for which he received 6 years confinement in the TDCJ and ordered to pay $988 in fees and fines. The third sentence was for possession of a controlled substance-Codeine, 28-200 grams. He received 6 years confinement in the TDCJ plus ordered to pay an additional $988 in fees and fines.

Douglas Wayne Wilson, 44 of Ledbetter, was sentenced for theft- $1500-$20,000. He received 547 days confinement in the TDCJ State and ordered to pay $304 court costs, $400 court appointed attorney fee, $50 Bluebonnet Area Crime Stopper fee, and $34 DNA collection fee.

Anthony Gonzales, 27 of Giddings, was sentenced for theft of property less than $500 with 2 or more previous convictions. He received 2 years confinement in the TDCJ State Jail Facility probated 5 years along with $1,000 fine, $304 court costs, $1800 restitution, $34 DNA collection fee, $50 Bluebonnet Area Crime Stopper fee and enter and successfully complete a Substance Abuse Felony Punishment Facility Treatment Program.
