Rockdale Nips Lady Eagles 34-32

Lexington’s difficulties at the free throw line, where they hit seven of 18 attempts, enabled Rockdale to take a 34-32 win over the Lady Eagles Friday night. Lexington got two treys from Mackenzie Brown and one from Rachel Clark. Brown led the Lady Birds in scoring with 11 points.

Lexington started out strong with 12 points in the first quarter but Rockdale finished the game stronger with 13 points in the final stanza to pull ahead for the victory.

Lexington is now 2-2 for the season and entering the busy, tournament season.
