Middle School Report

7th Grade- The youngest Eagles beat Rogers 26-10.

8th Grade- After playing a good half against Rogers, the 8th Graders fell apart in the second half. Rogers won 50-14, but only led 18-14 at half. Lexington had some good offensive statistics. Walt Green scored Lexington’s first touchdown on a 35- yard run. Tyler Page added the PAT run. Page later scored on a 10-yard run to end Lexington’s scoring for the year. Andrew Lane led the Lexington rushing attack with 111 yards on 14 carries. Page had 17 totes for 66 yards, Green 65 on two caries, and W.E. Meuth had 45 tough yards on eight trips.

Defensively, Samuel Meza recovered a fumble for Lexington. Miles Hannigan led the defense with six tackles. Meuth had four stops and Martin Solis had three tackles. Freddy Blackman, Meza, and Lane two tackles each. Clay Brockenbush, Jason Handrick, Brad Campbell, and Logan Lee had a tackles in the game.

Campbell had a good night punting with a 25-yard average and Meuth did a good job kicking off.
