A caller reported that she was having problems with her juvenile daughter. She requested a deputy respond to her residence on PR 3096 in Lexington. Deputy Easley was dispatched and reported that it was a verbal confrontation only.
Deputy Liles responded to a residence on CR 118 after a caller requested to speak to a deputy about her adult son and the problems they were having.

Chief Deputy Kothmann and Captain Gonzales were dispatched to an inquest on CR 216. JP #2 Bise was called to the scene along with Phillips & Luckey.
A caller advised that she asked
subject that was at her residence to leave and he refused. Deputy Lapham and Deputy Liles responded to the residence on CR 232. The subject had left prior to their arrival.

A motorist reported that a blue semi-truck almost ran him off the road on Hwy 77. The truck was last seen passing CR 330 heading towards Hwy 21. Deputy Lapham attempted to locate the vehicle.
The Sheriff’s Office received a call from a subject reporting that he had located a deceased male under a truck on PR 402. Sheriff Meyer, Deputy Lapham, Deputy Easley and Deputy Allen responded to the scene. Justice of the Peace and Phillips and Luckey were called to the scene. Investigation continues on this case.
Burleson County advised that female was bitten by her own dog and was in the emergency room with a very swollen hand. Deputy Liles spoke to the hospital and a report was taken.
November 4, 2010
Deputy Liles responded to a disturbance on PR 4309. A caller reported that his girlfriend arrived at this house and began throwing all of his belongings around. The girlfriend had left prior to his arrival.
The Sheriff’s Office received a 9-1-1 call from a female stating that she had just escaped from being held hostage from her ex-boyfriend for 4 days. Captain Gonzales, Deputy Lapham, Deputy Durrenberger, Deputy Easley, Deputy Carvin and Trooper Thorp responded to CR 139. The actor was located after running from the scene and arrested.
A motorist reported that there was two trash bags filled with hay in the middle of FM 448 just before FM 2239. Deputy Allen was dispatched and cleared the debris off the road.
Deputy Allen spoke to a complainant that was worried about her daughter and her leaving their residence while in a depressed state of mind. Deputy Allen found out that the daughter had left to visit a friend and would be returning Sunday.

Deputy Liles responded to a burglar alarm at a business on Hwy 290 West. The building was found secure. The owner’s were notified.
Deputy Lapham stood by and assisted with traffic control on Hwy 77 North. An 18-wheeler had broken down and was waiting for a mechanic.
Several motorists reported large debris on Hwy 290 East in the eastbound lanes of traffic. Deputy Allen removed a large piece of tire.
Deputy Allen and Deputy Liles were dispatched to check on a residence on CR 226. The residence will be on close patrol.
November 6, 2010
A motorist reported a silver Honda Accord that was traveling on Hwy 290 West , was speeding and swerving in an out of traffic. Deputy Liles located and stopped the vehicle at Bucee’s. The driver was identified and released.
A complainant reported a suspicious vehicle at her neighbor’s on Hwy 290 West. Deputy York located the vehicle and advised that it was broken down and a wrecker was on the way.
Deputy York spoke to a complainant regarding an assault. The subject advised that he was hit in the head with a rock. A report was taken and charges are pending at this time.
The Sheriff’s Office received a call from the Giddings Airport reporting that an elderly male had been camping out in one of their rooms. Deputy York was dispatched and the problem was resolved.
Information was received that smoke was coming from a building on FM 448. Deputy Lapham checked out the building and reported no smoke and everything was okay.
A motorist reported that an elderly man had run off the road and hit the guardrail on FM 448 @ the Railroad tracks in Northrup. Deputy Lapham stood by until a Trooper arrived from Fayette County.
A caller reported that he could hear automatic gun fire coming from his neighbor’s property and it sounded close. Deputy Allen and Deputy Ray spoke to the neighbor who advised they were shooting in a safe direction but would stop for the night.

Deputy Easley assisted the Dime Box Fire Department with traffic control at a grass fire on Hwy 21 near CR 400.
A complainant reported that someone went into his house and took his money. Deputy Ray took a report and investigation is pending at this time.
Deputy Allen worked an accident on Hwy 77 North near Nails Creek. A vehicle struck a deer. A report was written.
