Bruceville-Eddy beat Lexington 14-6 in a hard fought game at BE. BE recovered a Lexington fumble and returned it for a TD to open the scoring. Lexington answered with a drive down the field. Tyler Page went the final seven yards for the Lexington score. The score was tied at halftime 6-6. BE passed their way to victory scoring on a pass play in the second half, adding the PAT for the final 14-6 score. Page had nine carries for 63-yards. Andrew Lane had nine carries for 48-yards. W.E. Meuth had 56-yards on 14 tries.

The Eagle defense had a good night also. Walt Green intercepted two passes. The first he returned 11-yards and the second a big 30- yards. Miles Hannigan had 11 tackles for the 8th grade Eagles. Others making tackles were: Samuel Meza 7, Freddie Blackmon 6, Meuth and Martin Solis 5 each, Bryce Shirocky 3, and Lane, Page, Green, Logan Lee, Caleb Braziel, and Chris Hasskarl one each.

Meuth toed a kick off that eluded the BE receivers and tolled into the end zone.
