Elizabeth Anne Gonnella
Beth was a blessing to all who knew her. She trusted Jesus Christ as her Saviour at the age of 4, and served Him with singleness of heart and mind until the moment she passed away. She was home schooled, a first-place winner of the Milam County Bible Knowledge Quiz, and attended Texas Woman’s University in Denton, where she was on the Dean’s List for three years until deteriorating health forced her to withdraw.
A talented singer and musician, Beth played the piano, violin and classical guitar. Beth was associated with the Peabody Conservatory Youth Orchestra in Baltimore, the Mary Hardin Baylor Youth Orchestra in Belton, the Temple College Orchestra, and had a small part in a production of the opera, Le Nozze Di Figaro (The Marriage of Figaro) at Texas Woman’s University.
Most important to Beth was her relationship to Jesus Christ and her service for Him as a member of the Landmark Baptist Church. She was vitally involved in the music and children’s ministries of the church.
Beth is survived by her parents, David and Elaine Gonnella, and her sister, Rachel Gonnella.
